Irish Dance Program 2026-2027

We offer traditional Irish dance classes at a variety of skill levels for students pre-school age through adults.

2026–2027 Class schedule

Classes take place during the academic year, from Tuesday, September 8, 2026 through Wednesday, May 26, 2027.

  • Tuesday, September 8 - First Day of Classes

  • Saturday, December 19 - Winter Showcase

  • Wednesday, May 26, 2027 - Last Day of Classes

Classes for Children

Tir na nÓg (Preschool)

  • In our Tir na nÓg, or “land of the young,” program, preschool-age children (3 to 5 years old) explore Irish dance through play, develop coordination, balance, and muscle strength, practice social skills, and gain confidence.

  • Two options for this class:

    • September through May: Tuesdays 5:30-6:00 PM

    • 6-week sessions in the fall, winter, and spring: Saturdays 9-9:30 AM

Lions (Beginner)

  • Beginner students age 6+ learn posture, foot/leg/body positioning, rhythm, timing, and basic Irish dance steps.

  • Two options for this class:

    • September through May: Tuesdays 6:00-6:45 PM

    • 6-week sessions in the fall, winter, and spring: Saturdays 9:30-10 AM

Adult Classes

  • Adult dancers of all levels may enroll in our classes

  • Students learn solo and group dance skills, drills, steps, and exercises

  • Join these classes for a relaxed atmosphere and to get a dose of social interaction along with your exercise

  • Classes are held September through May: Mondays 8:30-9:15 PM
